Based on George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion, this beloved classic remains a timeless audience favorite. Featuring an unforgettable score—“Wouldn’t It Be Loverly?,” “The Rain in Spain,” “I Could Have Danced All Night,” and more—the story follows Eliza Doolittle, a quick-witted Cockney flower seller. When Professor Henry Higgins takes on the challenge of transforming her speech and social standing, an unexpected relationship begins to take shape—one that ultimately changes them both.

The Department of Theatre Arts has determined with university administration that the message and opportunities for students provided by this production meet our Pedagogical & Redemptive Rationale and effectively reflect the truths of our human condition as revealed specifically and generally by God. We have negotiated with the rights holders of this production to mitigate most Instances of Sensitive Language but are contractually obligated to present the amended script as approved. For this reason, this production is recommended for ages 10+. Audience discretion advised.
